After-school care 3-6 years

Buitenschoolse opvang

In addition to our teaching times you can also use our after-school care from 14:45 to 18:30 hrs. After school, your child is taken from school and walks with the pedagogical assistant to the after-school care, together with the other children from school. We start the afternoon with a drink and a healthy snack. We provide healthy food and drinks, varied and low in fat, sugar and salt. This is often a good time to chat, as a group or one-on-one. The children can share their story after a whole day at school and show what they have learned or made. After that your child is free to play (alone or with other children) or he or she participates in the activities that the after-school care employee offers.

During school weeks (short days):

Time: Activity:
Between end of school time and 15:30 hrs The teachers bring the lower-class children to the central hall where they will be taken care of by the after-school care staff.  The older children will come to the group accommodation of after-school care by themselves.

Time to have a drink at the child’s own group with a healthy snack. This is usually the moment to catch up with each other, either in the group or individually.

Between 15:30 and 18:30 hrs The children will go play by themselves or join in an activity offered to them.
Up to 18:30 hrs The parents come and collect their children. Parents may have a talk with the educational staff about the child’s day during the transfer.

Older children with an independence certificate may, in consultation, go home by themselves.
